BallBridge Sports Newsroom| 19 October 2026| Afternoon Update Moses Oluwafemi 1. CAS Releases Update on Deliberations in Senegal’s AFCON Final Appeal. The Court of Arbitration for Sport has confirmed that deliberations are underway in Senegal’s appeal over the decision to award Morocco the 2025 AFCON title. The hearing involving the Senegalese Football Federation, CAF and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation took place behind closed doors at CAS headquarters in Lausanne on 8 October. CAS says the Panel has decided to issue a complete Award containing its legal grounds, meaning the process will take several weeks rather than producing an immediate ruling.
