CAF’s 54 Member Associations Unanimously Back Infantino for Another FIFA Term All 54 CAF Member Associations have reaffirmed their “unanimous and unconditional” support for Gianni Infantino as he seeks another term as FIFA President in the March 2027 election. The endorsement was reiterated during CAF’s Strategy Conference in Cape Verde, where CAF President Patrice Motsepe thanked Infantino “for all he does for African football”, while Infantino pledged further resources for the continent. FIFA says it has invested around $1 billion across 124 projects in Africa through the FIFA Forward programme since Infantino became president in 2016.
